IELTS Prep made easy by British Council’s IELTS Prep App
The British Council launched an IELTS preparation mobile application last Friday. The app has been launched to help IELTS aspirants and students prepare for their IELTS test.
The application focuses on providing assistance to students in the reading, listening, writing and speaking areas. Furthermore, the app provides modules on grammar and vocabulary for IELTS test. It will have videos of IELTS speaking interviews. The biggest benefit offered by the app is that it will provide an opportunity to the candidates to have their written and spoken English accessed by the co-learners.
Citing the purpose behind app making, Michael King, Exams Director, British Council, said, “ We have launched the app with an aim to provide an authentic source that is handy, easily accessible through mobile handsets and able to deliver high-quality content.”
Now the students could study/refer anything related to IELTS on a go. There is absolutely no need to carry the hard copies of the IELTS test reference materials. The app is available for both Android and iOS users.
IELTS – which stands for International English Language Testing System, is an internationally recognized and accepted test for non-English speakers to test their English language speaking, reading, writing and listening skills. In order to immigrate for work or to study overseas to English speaking countries, it is necessary to take up IELTS and score good bands.
